Paolo Garcia

A seasoned Freelance Motion Designer and Art Director with over 18 years of experience spanning all facets of motion design—from title sequences and broadcast packages to large-scale event visuals, digital campaigns, and social media content. He has worked across leading creative markets including Sydney, London, and New York.

Previously, Paolo led the design team at National Geographic Channel in Australia and New Zealand, where he served as Head of Design for four years. During this time, his work received multiple Promax Awards at both the Asia Pacific and global levels. His creative achievements have also been recognized by the Art Directors Club, and he has contributed to the industry through roles such as Adobe Achievement Awards Judge, Adobe Creative Careers mentor, and Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Main Titles & Graphic Design.

Since transitioning to freelance and relocating internationally, Paolo has expanded his creative reach beyond documentary and factual storytelling into advertising, technology, sports, and entertainment. His work remains grounded in a deep passion for visual storytelling and thoughtful design.

Now based in Brooklyn, New York, Paolo continues to explore new creative frontiers, drawing on a global perspective shaped by travel, cultural curiosity, and a lifelong commitment to design.
